Prince William Wants Nothing to Do with Prince Harry, Report Claims
Prince William Wants Nothing to Do with Harry

Prince William and Prince Harry's fractured relationship shows little sign of healing, with reports claiming the brothers have not spoken since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in 2022.

However, it has now been reported that the pair could possibly reunite next year to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of their mother, Princess Diana. The Diana Reward charity is believed to be orchestrating a series of events to commemorate the anniversary, but questions remain over whether William and Harry can put their differences aside.

William sees Harry as 'poisonous'

Speaking to Danica De Giorgio on News 24, formerly Sky News Australia, Cristo Foufas said he believes William, 44, sees it as his duty to protect the monarchy for the future and, as a result, views Harry, 41, as "poisonous" because he believes his actions and public criticisms have undermined the institution.

Foufas said: "He wants absolutely nothing to do with him. I've got really high hopes for William because William gets it. The late Queen got it. I love King Charles but I think that sometimes he gets a little bit influenced."

"It is all about the protection of the crown. And anytime there is scandal like Andrew, anytime there are grenades thrown about racism, they all undermine the integrity of the crown."

"And that is something I think that William absolutely understands – that he is the protector. He is the steward of that going forward. And unfortunately, I think he sees Harry as poisonous when it comes to that."

Reunion hopes slim

Foufas argued that if the death of their beloved grandmother couldn't bring them together then he's not sure what else could. He added: "Will they stand in front of a monument of Diana and sort of smile for the cameras? Possibly. But I can absolutely guarantee you that there won't be huge long discussions, no makeup dinners, none of that sort of stuff because Harry to William is an irritant."

"For William, the entire reason he is on this earth is the protection and the stewardship of the crown. And Harry is something that has undermined that."

"Imagine that being your life and knowing that the person that could have been closest to you has actually been the person that has tried to jeopardise that for you. I'm not sure that's something William will ever forgive."

Danica De Giorgio agreed, describing Harry's actions as "the ultimate betrayal".
