Our Farm Next Door, the series following Amanda Owen and her family, is returning to screens from Monday, October 5, on More4 at 9pm, the production company behind the show has announced.
Fans of the Owen family have shared their excitement about the news. One said: "Yesssssss, can't wait, love this programme." Another wrote: "Aww can't wait," as someone else said: "Hurrrray. About time."
Filming and new series details
The new series was filmed across Winter 2025 and Spring 2026. It follows the Owens as they continue the renovation of their new family home, Anty John's, with building work entering its third year.
The synopsis reads: "Ravenseat we see the family welcome some unexpected new faces at Christmas; we're there to see all hands on deck for a busy Easter lambing season; as Amanda continues to uncover the fascinating and moving history behind Anty John's and the Clarkson family who once lived there; and we're with Edith and her sisters as they prepare the cream tea van for its grand Summer opening."
Third and fourth seasons confirmed
It was confirmed last year that Amanda and her children would return to filming for a third and fourth season of Our Farm Next Door, as the family continued working to transform their centuries-old farmhouse.
Amanda said at the time: "I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside and for people to join us on our exciting journey through the restoration of our farm next door. We're grateful for Channel 4's support and the effort and utter dedication of the film crew who have had to work in challenging weather conditions, coupled with the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals. This is a programme that I am seriously proud of."
Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: "Following the Owen family's incredible work to renovate Anty John's has been such a joy and I'm over the moon we're able to continue the journey with two more series for More4. I can't wait to see how the amazing transformation of the farmhouse continues as well as enjoying the magnificent Yorkshire scenery we're treated to in every episode."
Related series and fan response
Following the success of Our Yorkshire Farm, Channel 5 launched Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, which followed Amanda and Clive's eldest son, featuring his brothers Miles and Sid, as well as his girlfriend Jess, and friends Sonny and Capper.
After that series came to an end this year, viewers were left begging for more, though the team behind the show confirmed it would be "back soon". They wrote on social media: "Can't believe it's the last episode of the series… where have the last 8 weeks gone? It's been an incredible series, and we've been genuinely blown away by all the lovely comments and support you've given us along the way. Tonight's episode is all about lambing, one of the busiest, most emotional and rewarding times in the farming calendar. Hope you all enjoy it, we'll be back soon!"
One fan replied: "Oh man. Not the last. That's sad. Thank you for sharing everything with us. Joy. X" Another said: "We want more we want more I absolutely love this series."
