Maya Jama Stuns in LBD on Love Island Aftersun

Maya Jama turned heads in a form-fitting little black dress as she hosted the latest episode of Love Island: Aftersun. The 31-year-old presenter showcased her curves in the mini dress, which featured a plunging neckline and structured detailing.

Maya's Glam Team Stress

Despite appearing effortlessly glamorous, Maya admitted that backstage before the Sunday night show, she had been 'stressing the glam team out as usual.' The admission came as fans continue to clamour for more screen time for the host.

Fans Demand More Maya

Although Maya appears weekly on the spin-off show and is active on Instagram, viewers have pleaded with ITV bosses to see more of her. She has hinted that she will return to the Love Island villa this week, alluding to more twists or possible bombshells. Replying to a follower who joked that Maya had been put on a 'zero hours contract,' she wrote on X: 'Il be back in there soon I promise I have been dying to get back in there tbh.'

Upcoming Projects

Love Island is due to wrap next month, but Maya will be back on screens shortly after as she stars in the second season of The Celebrity Traitors in the autumn. The TV favourite has always been confident about her career trajectory.

Maya's Early Confidence

Maya says she always knew she would make it in showbusiness despite knowing nobody in the industry. She said: 'I was ambitious. I just knew I was going to be on telly because everyone around me would say, “She’s going to be on telly one day” – my mum’s friends, teachers, anyone we met on the street. They were all like, “She’s got something.” And because I heard it so much, of course I’m going to believe it. I had this instilled confidence from everyone else.'

Late Bloomer

Despite her current glamour, Maya admits she lacked femininity when younger and insists nobody fancied her until she was much older. She told the Guardian: 'Nobody believes it unless they see the photos. I was a late bloomer. In terms of my femininity, I was a bit of a ragamuffin. I was always with the boys, I wore loads of loose clothing, didn’t have any boobs, wasn’t called sexy ever in my life. It was like, “Maya’s got a great personality, but she’s not hot” throughout school. Then I developed, and it was like “Oh look, she’s saucy now!”'
