Manchester Village Pride will be held for the first time this year, taking over the city centre on Saturday, August 29. The day will feature a parade with a No Place Like Home theme, alongside a full line-up of music and live acts in the Gay Village.
Performers include Gareth Gates and DJ Sammy, with a second appearance from Danny Beard, who also performs at the festival on Friday night. Drag queens, DJs and other stars will appear across the day.
Main Stage schedule
The Main Stage will be hosted by Viva La Diva & Yshee Black at 12.30pm, Soraya Vivian at 4.30pm and Danny Beard at 7pm. DJs include Josh Smith at 12pm and Dan Walker at 5.30pm.

Community Stage and Gaydio Dance Arena
The Community Stage is hosted by Michael Sheridan & Alexa Vox at 1pm and DJ Ranj & Tonya Kneez at 4.30pm, with DJ Vivienne Lynsey at 12.30pm. Acts include Ben Hodge, Manchester Proud Chorus, a Freddie Mercury Tribute, and Belinda & the Scandal Takeover. Charities appearing include The LGBT Foundation, Sparkle, The Proud Trust and Albert Kennedy Trust.
The Gaydio Dance Arena features Banksie presents Club Rat Takeover, DJ Kat Brown Sugar, Drew Kent, DJ Reisner, Havoc, DJ Kim Lana, and Gaydio sets from Kriss Herbert, Chris Blackmore, Eden Binks, Alfie B, Craig Law and a Silent Disco at 12am.
Family-friendly events outside the Gay Village
Proud Fest takes place at the Great Northern Warehouse with family-friendly events, while Neuroqueerz brings a Calm Space at the Holiday Inn hotel on Aytoun Street, offering a 'calm, low-stimulation environment' for those who want to enjoy Pride at their own pace.
