MAFS Australia's Bec Zacharia Breaks Silence After Bridal Dress Row

Married At First Sight Australia star Bec Zacharia has spoken out after a social media storm over a bridal dress hire dispute left her facing a torrent of abuse. The bride, who appeared on the recent explosive season, claims the controversy has taken a serious toll on her wellbeing.

The drama erupted when Bec revealed she had spent nearly $20k on MAFS and did not rent outfits. However, the owner of bridal gown hire firm RESRVD alleged Bec had used their services for a Final Vows outfit in return for publicity, but only tagged the brand on her burner account. RESRVD's owner Savannah vented online about small businesses not receiving promised recognition.

Bec told Daily Mail Australia her business Instagram account has been removed, saying: 'This is my only form of income, and that has now been taken away from me. I am a small business now. All of the deals that I've got going on rely on me having my Instagram, and the hate that I'm getting every five minutes, I'm getting abuse.'

She described the incident as an 'honest mistake' and told news.com.au: 'My life is crumbled, and I can't get away from abuse.' Bec also revealed Final Vows and the gown were 'triggering' for her, considering the heartache she endured after being dumped by on-screen husband Danny.
