Married At First Sight UK star Leah Marie Tyrer has revealed she is no longer on speaking terms with her former partner Leigh Harris, despite leaving the experiment on good terms. Speaking about their post-show fallout, Leah described the bride's social media actions as 'tasteless'.
Leah, 31, said they had agreed to remain friends but that Leigh had since 'tried to throw me under the bus' on social media. The pair clashed on TikTok after Leah admitted that fellow bride Rebecca was more her type, a comment that sparked further tensions. Leah added that they also argued over Leigh's constant vaping, which she found 'disrespectful'.
She explained: 'Sharing a one-bedroom apartment with someone who vapes 24-7 and wants to vape in bed caused a lot of our arguments. Sitting in bed at 3am and smoking vape in my face – there's an element of disrespect.' Leah said they sometimes slept in separate flats during the experiment.
The reality star admitted that watching her relationship unfold on TV was initially difficult, describing it as 'a bit of PTSD'. However, she now tries not to dwell on it. Leah added that the experience taught her not to chase relationships that aren't working, saying: 'It takes its toll on you and you end up losing sight of who you really are.'
Since leaving the show single, Leah teased that she is 'very happy' with someone new. She also revealed she broke curfew several times during filming, hosting a party in her apartment that caused security to intervene. Looking ahead, she hopes to appear on SAS: Who Dares Wins or I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.
