Married At First Sight's Gia Fleur has broken her silence in an emotional interview with Daily Mail, moments before her dramatic return to the final dinner party. Fighting back tears, the bride admitted she is 'f***ing terrible' after being left devastated by her groom Scott McCristal, who she claims has completely cut contact.
'I've been crying for the last three days straight,' she said. 'I'm literally only going there to see Scott. I don't care about anyone else.' In a shock confession, Gia revealed she is still desperately holding onto hope that their relationship can be salvaged, despite everything that has unfolded.
Gia claims she and Scott had already agreed to quit the experiment together and had even packed their bags. 'Everything was in Scott's car. We were going to drive to the Gold Coast and start our lives,' she said. According to Gia, the couple had agreed to film one final scene before walking away, but producers convinced them to stay. She alleges Scott backflipped on their plan during their final date, leaving her feeling betrayed.
'I said I'm leaving this experiment with you because we found love… but he chose to stay. In my mind, the show was more important to him than the relationship,' she said. Gia also accused producers of interfering behind the scenes, and admitted she still doesn't fully understand why Scott changed his mind.
