Married At First Sight Australia couple Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov have shared details of their surprise engagement, which aired during the Final Vows episode. Filip, 37, proposed to Stella, 32, with a diamond ring, marking a fairytale ending for the show's most successful couple.
Filip revealed he sought his parents' approval before proposing, telling them Stella was 'the one'. His father responded, 'If not her, then who?' Filip chose an elongated cushion diamond on a plain gold band for the ring, admitting he 'didn't want to overthink it'.
Stella initially thought the proposal was a joke, saying, 'I thought he was doing the shoelace prank... I burst into tears.' After the proposal, the couple celebrated with Stella's friends at a jazz bar.
The couple plans an engagement party on a boat for 80 guests, with DJ decks and swimming. They will also host a reunion with their MAFS co-stars. For the wedding, they aim to marry in Croatia, Filip's home country, as it is convenient for Stella's Lithuanian family.
