Love Island All Stars Viewers Slam Scott as 'Gameplayer' Over Villa USA Gossip
Love Island: All Stars fans have sharply criticised contestant Scott, branding him a 'gameplayer' and a 'gossip' after he dished the dirt on antics from Villa USA. This follows his elimination alongside Helena, as the American bombshells wielded significant power in a dramatic twist.
Villa USA Shake-Up and Scott's Return
The main villa was rocked this week when six American bombshells arrived at Villa USA, tasked with selecting eight original Islanders to join them. After a flirty game of beer pong, the US stars gained considerable influence during Friday's episode, choosing three girls and three boys to remain in their villa. The unlucky duo sent packing back to the OG villa were Helena and Scott, based on the US stars' preferences for getting to know others further.
Upon returning to the main villa, Scott wasted no time in filling in the other Islanders on the happenings at Villa USA, sparking controversy and viewer backlash.
Scott's Gossip-Fueled Revelations
Scott's gossiping began with Millie, as he informed Curtis that someone '100% her type', Zac, was in the villa. The next day, he further stirred the pot by telling the dancer that Millie would definitely return with a new man, adding that the pair had been getting very close and kissing during games, which left Curtis looking gutted.
He continued by telling Lucinda that Tommy had been getting close to US star Kyra, with the pair sharing two snogs outside of challenges. Meanwhile, Scott later informed Konnor that Whitney and Yamen were also getting close, and he told Sean about a comment made by US boy Yamen, where he said Sean wasn't a 'man'.
Earlier in the night during beer pong, Scott had tried to stir the pot by asking Yamen: 'What do you think of Belle and Sean?' Yamen didn't hold back, replying: 'I think she can do better than Sean. Maybe just more of a man vibe…' Scott and Sean have had a tense relationship since the footballer arrived in the villa earlier this month, including a fiery row where Scott branded Sean the 'worst Islander ever'.
Despite their differences, Scott defended Sean to the other boys after Yamen's comment, stating: 'I’ve had my differences with Sean but I do disagree with that ‘man’ comment.'
Viewer Reactions and Social Media Backlash
Calling out Scott's gossiping, people on social media expressed strong disapproval:
- 'Scott just can’t help himself, some massive gossip,'
- 'Why is Scott laying it on thick with all the gossip from the other villa, there's no need, he's such a game player,'
- 'Scott telling Sean what Yamen said about him to take the heat off himself, now that Sean is favourite boy,'
- 'Ahhh Scott just SHHHHH sometimes! TALK ABOUT YOURSELF,'
- 'Scott airing out everyone’s business except his own. he’s kinda irking me now,'
- 'Scott has 0 loyalties just pure chat.'
Villa USA Decisions and Aftermath
Ahead of their big decision at Villa USA, Carrington read out a text that said: 'US All Stars, it’s time for you to decide which three girls and which three boys you would like to stay at Villa USA… The girl and boy you don't choose will return to the main villa immediately.' Ultimately, the US boys chose to send Helena back to the main villa, with Whitney, Millie, and Belle staying. Meanwhile, Tommy, Jack, and Ciaran were kept by the US girls, with Scott sent back to the villa to see Leanne.
The episode saw Tommy getting very close to US girl Kyra, while Millie and US boy Zac were passionately smooching just hours after the decision was made. While Millie got close to Zac, she revealed she had no desire to kiss Curtis in bed, after the dancer broke down in tears when she cooled off their coupling.
Love Island: All Stars continues to air, with episodes broadcast at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, keeping viewers hooked on the unfolding drama and relationships.
