Love Island finalist Yasmin Pettet has confirmed that Casa Amor bombshells face a tougher time in the villa than viewers might expect.

Series 13 is days away from crowning its champions, and Casa Amor has already come and gone. The segment sees the lads and girls split into separate villas and introduced to new Islanders, who must forge strong connections to earn a place in the main villa, often splitting up established couples.
Julia Majchrzak remains the only Casa female bombshell still in the villa. She returned alongside OG lad Lorenzo Alessi, whose previous partner Yasmin Hadlow opted to recouple with newcomer Tommy Stagg. Last week, Julia was reduced to tears after failing to rescue fellow Casa bombshell Martha Rothwell from elimination.
Yasmin Pettet reveals unwelcoming atmosphere
Speaking at ITV's Reality Showcase on Friday (17 July), the 2025 finalist revealed it can be "hard" for the latecomers to find their feet. She said: "I think it's hard with the Casa girls because, we know from experience, when Casa girls come into the main villa, some girls in the main villa aren't that welcoming or receptive to them. So I think that's why they sort of find solidarity within each other because they're like 'Okay, we're in the same boat. Let's be there for each other.'"
Newcomers Mara Pirez, Charleen Murphy, Julia and Martha all bagged places in the main villa after striking up romances with four lads. Charleen was reduced to tears as soon as they joined the remaining contestants because she felt the original girls weren't being welcoming.
Julia faced criticism and clashes
Julia also faced criticism when axed Islander Lola Deal challenged her for flirting with her partner, Sean Fitzgerald. During their clashes, the Casa girls remained firmly united, but Julia is the sole survivor following the evictions.
