Love Is Blind UK star Jack Bradshaw has shared a 'tough' personal update just days after the Netflix reunion aired. The 30-year-old, who married Faye Domaille on the show, has opened up about recognising his 'bad relationship' with alcohol and his ongoing efforts to address it.
The latest season of the dating experiment aired last month, featuring 30 singles entering the blind dating pods. A record 14 couples got engaged at the end of the first stage, though viewers only saw six love stories unfold on screen. Ultimately, four couples walked away happily married, and the explosive reunion episode aired on Sunday (August 30), revealing all successful couples are still together.
Jack's candid confession
In a recent chat with presenter Will Njobvu, Jack admitted: "I have realised my relationship with alcohol, I use it as a coping mechanism, a stress reliever to take the edge off. When I feel stressed I drink more. When I feel very stressed I drink very much and self-destruct. And that is something that over the last year I’ve been working on massively."
Now, the newfound reality star has shared a fresh update addressing the interview. He re-posted a clip from the original conversation on Instagram with a heartfelt caption, writing: "A tough one for me to talk about but the only way anyone can become better is by looking internally at yourself and putting in that work. I'm sure there's some young men out there who can relate to what I'm saying. Thank you @will_njo for asking real questions and opening conversations on genuine topics that might impact people."
Focus on marriage and future plans
Jack went on to add: "Right now I'm focusing on enjoying my amazing wife and being able to finally show off our relationship to the world after a year in hiding but in the near future I will be taking time to speak on real topics like this and expanding on my own personal experiences."
The couple, who have travelled everywhere from Australia to Vietnam in their first year of marriage, faced hurdles during the experiment. Jack originally came under fire when he "vanished" from their shared apartment in the early hours of the morning and seemingly hid his phone location from Faye. He also faced backlash after arriving "late" to their wedding day, but the couple has since strengthened their bond.
