Netflix viewers have slammed a major "red flag" as a brand new season of Love Is Blind UK returns. The hit reality series will make its comeback on August 19 with new hopeful singles on the hunt for love, but there is a huge twist.
New Season's Twist
Those looking for love will be separated into their own pods as they go on dozens of dates, narrowing down their list of potential partners. They will meet face to face only if they take their relationship to the next step and become engaged. From there, the real test begins as they move in with one another and plan their wedding day.
Things don't always go to plan though, with plenty of arguments and explosive moments along the way. An official synopsis has teased: "Love is Blind: UK returns to Netflix for a third series which promises high drama, raw emotion and plenty of romance.
"The latest group of hopeful singles, each one searching for their Mr. or Mrs. Right, will step into the iconic Pods for a string of blind dates. From behind a wall, they are all hoping to form a connection so deep that they’re willing to put their hearts on the line by agreeing to marry without ever having seen each other."
Trailer Sparks Reaction
Today (August 5), Netflix has dropped an exciting new trailer as fans cannot wait. Earlier today, the streaming giant teased the new trailer's release as it shared a video, hearing from several members of the cast hiding behind a wall. Each contestant spoke about themselves, but fans have spotted a huge red flag.
The first girl can be heard saying: "A guy once spent £15,000 on a first date. Keep your standards high girlies, like high, high, high." A male in the second clip can be heard saying: "I think my chat is probably up there as one of the best in the world."
Commenting, one viewer said: "Reddddddesssst of flags and we’re ready to be entertained." Another penned: "15K on a first date????", which was accompanied by several flag emojis. A third wrote: "$15,000 on a date and they're wondering why they're doing a tv show still looking for a man?" A fourth added: "Red flag red flag red flag", as a fifth commented: "on a first date is crazy."
What to Expect
The trailer was later released promising plenty of drama and tears and potential feuds. In the clip, one girl can be heard saying: "She's nasty", as others question their future as they head into their wedding day.
Love Is Blind UK returns to Netflix on August 19.
