The challenge will see the two campmates go head-to-head, each attempting to consume an entire pig's brain faster than the other. The trial is part of a new format where pairs from the two split teams compete, determining who faces the first public vote.
The development comes after Jack Osbourne successfully secured 12 out of 12 stars in his solo Bushtucker trial, 'Drown The Hatch', on Tuesday. Despite initial nerves, Jack impressed campmates and presenters alike, completing underwater chambers filled with yabbies, toads, mud crabs, and eels.
Viewers have taken to social media to suggest the Rivals challenge is a bid by ITV to inject some drama into what has been a harmonious camp. One fan wrote: 'The producers are attempting to create some tension in the camp. All of the campmates are being harmonious which is probably giving the producers a nightmare.'
