Reality television star Jon Gosselin, 48, has officially married his partner, Stephanie Lebo, 38, in a romantic ceremony held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The couple's wedding photos have been shared publicly for the first time, offering a glimpse into their special day which occurred one year after they got engaged.
A Family Affair With Notable Absences
The pair exchanged vows at The Barn at Silverstone on a Sunday, surrounded by 180 guests. However, the family celebration was marked by the absence of most of Jon's children from his previous marriage. Of his eight children, only Hannah and Collin were present at the nuptials.
Collin, who proudly served as one of his father's groomsmen, spoke candidly to Entertainment Tonight about the situation. He expressed that 'it would have been really nice to see' his siblings—Madelyn, Cara, Leah, Alexis, Joel, and Aaden—in attendance. 'I love them, and I hope they know that we would have loved to see them here,' he added following the ceremony.
New Beginnings and Heartfelt Tributes
Despite the family complexities, the day was filled with joy and hope for the future. Collin was overwhelmingly supportive of his father's new marriage, stating that given everything Jon has been through, 'it just highlighted it even more for me that he's really deserving of this.' He also gave his full approval to his new stepmother, Stephanie, praising the unconditional and genuine nature of her love for his dad.
The bride, who has a professional background in research and the beauty industry, looked stunning in a Tasha wedding gown by Eddy K. Her daughter, Juliana, was also there to celebrate the union. During the ceremony, Jon shared a touching tribute to his new wife, saying, 'Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason... I feel like the luckiest man in the world, because I get to grow old with my best friend and the love of my life.'
A Look Back and Moving Forward
Jon Gosselin was previously married to Kate Gosselin from 1999 until their divorce in 2009. The couple rose to fame on the TLC reality show 'Jon And Kate Plus 8', which later continued as 'Kate Plus 8' after their separation. In a recent development, Collin described his mother Kate as a 'narcissist' and criticised her past romance with her ex-bodyguard.
Jon and Stephanie's relationship began after they met at a mutual friend's summer barbecue in August 2021. They went public with their romance two years later in August 2023. The newlyweds have plans to honeymoon next year on a Caribbean cruise, marking the start of their new life together.
