Hosts Ant and Dec unveiled the shocking 'Rivals' twist, revealing that the public had paired each campmate with their opponent for upcoming challenges. The stakes couldn't be higher - the outcome would determine who faces the first public vote off and control the camp's food supply.
After a dreary start following an overnight thunderstorm, camp spirits initially remained high with Jack, Eddie and Aitch performing morning dances. Aitch even declared from his treehouse: 'Good morning beautiful people! We're gonna have an amazing day!' However, the mood would soon shift dramatically.
