I'm A Celeb's Lisa Riley Breaks Show Rules in Heartwarming Toothbrush Rescue
I'm A Celeb star breaks rules in toothbrush rescue drama

In a surprising turn of events on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, camaraderie has triumphed over competition as one campmate deliberately broke the show's strict rules to help another in need.

Rule-Breaking Rescue Mission

The incident unfolded when Kelly Brook, 45, was startled by a bug in the Australian jungle, causing her to scream and accidentally launch her toothbrush beyond the camp's boundaries. Spotting the essential hygiene item lying in forbidden territory, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, 49, didn't hesitate to cross the line - quite literally - to retrieve it for her distressed campmate.

Fellow recruit rapper Aitch, 25, witnessed the entire off-screen moment and later revealed all to The Bush Telegraph, the show's confessional camera. Rather than criticising Lisa for breaking protocol, the young musician praised her selfless actions, calling her a 'badman' for putting a friend's needs above the rules.

Aitch told The Bush Telegraph: 'Lisa saved the day, she got right down there, I don't even think she's allowed down there to be honest. She's breaking the rules and everything, she's a badman.'

Emotional Jungle Confessions

The toothbrush drama occurred during an emotionally charged episode that saw Jack Osbourne, 40, breaking down in tears while discussing his father's recent death. The reality star, who entered the ITV jungle camp, opened up about Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne's passing in July, admitting that the loss 'still feels fresh' nearly four months later.

During a campfire conversation with Lisa Riley, Jack became visibly emotional as he recounted his father's death. 'It was definitely a shock,' Jack shared. 'I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn't know it would be that quick.'

He described his father's final days as 'the ultimate mic drop', explaining that Ozzy had 'done a massive big gig and was like, alright I'm done.' Lisa offered her support to the grieving son during this vulnerable moment.

Jack also reflected on what his famous father would have thought about his jungle adventure, sharing: 'He'd be so supportive of this.'

Behind the Scenes of Camp Life

Lisa's rule-breaking kindness aligns with her pre-jungle declaration that she would 'be there for everyone' during her camp experience. However, she also warned that she doesn't 'suffer fools gladly' and that her inner Mandy Dingle - her famous Emmerdale character - would emerge if someone behaved unpleasantly.

The actress has reportedly been on I'm A Celebrity producers' radars for years but had always declined participation until now. She explained her decision to finally take on the challenge before turning 50, citing personal difficulties including losing her best friend and her mother's breast cancer diagnosis at age 48.

Lisa told the Metro: 'Nothing can be as bad as that in life and I have got to see if I can do it. Every day is a blessing and I want to really enjoy everything.'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues Tuesday on ITV1 and ITVX, promising more drama, emotions and unexpected acts of kindness in the jungle.
