Tensions reached boiling point in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle as a fresh feud between Kelly Brook and Vogue Williams left viewers fuming. The rivalry escalated after Brook took a brutal and personal swipe at Williams during the latest episode of the ITV reality show.
The Savage Swipe That Lit The Fuse
The conflict intensified when the celebrities were divided into two camps: the luxurious Win City and the deprived Doomsville. The public was tasked with selecting head-to-head battles, and they chose to pit Kelly Brook against her emerging rival, Vogue Williams. This came after Brook had previously labelled Williams with a highly offensive term.
The situation worsened when Brook, speaking confidently in the Bush Telegraph, launched a verbal attack centred on their names. "Listen Win City, we are the underdogs but we're never to be underestimated and we're coming for you today," she declared. "And let's face it, Vogue's named after a magazine, Kelly means warrior so it's kind of a no brainer."
Viewer Backlash Erupts Online
The remark did not go down well with the audience at home. Fans of the show rushed to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to voice their strong disapproval and anger.
One enraged viewer posted: "Vogue is called after a magazine, Kelly means warrior. Just stop the b***hing Kelly Brook #imaceleb." Another added a dose of sarcasm, commenting: "I thought Kelly meant annoying not warrior... but each to their own #imaceleb."
Others questioned the logic behind Brook's boast. "Kelly means warrior, so why have you been beaten or lost all of your trials?" one person queried. A fourth viewer noted the growing tension, writing: "Lowkey getting tense between Vogue and Kelly. The food is the power of all #imaceleb."
Paint, Put-Downs and a Physical Confrontation
The verbal jabs were just the beginning. During Thursday's episode, the two women went head-to-head in a challenge for cheese and crackers, involving giant tubs of paint. Vogue had to use the paint to knock down structures, but the real battle was between the two rivals.
Williams didn't hold back, telling Brook to leave and that there was no point in her even being there, confidently predicting another victory. "You’re good, you’re just not good enough," Vogue stated bluntly before the challenge began, adding, "Me and Kelly used to be friends but not anymore."
Brook retorted with a quip of her own, saying, "I've never seen you cry but I'm about to." True to her word, Vogue won the challenge for her camp, leaving Kelly defeated once more. In a moment of sheer frustration, Brook hurled a pot of paint at Williams, who immediately fought back, resulting in both celebrities being covered in paint before they ended the physical spat with a surprisingly friendly embrace.
However, the animosity resurfaced when Kelly returned to her camp. Recounting the event to campmate Aitch, she revealed her angry thoughts during the challenge: "I was like, 'You're getting it, b****. You are getting it'."
The outcome of the final challenges led to the two camps being reunited. It also meant that Kelly Brook was put up for the first public vote alongside Aitch, Angry Ginge, Alex Scott, Ruby Wax, Jack Osbourne and Martin Kemp. At the conclusion of Friday's episode, hosts Ant and Dec announced that Alex Scott was the first celebrity to be eliminated from the show.
