I'm A Celeb Chaos: Camp Punished After Contraband Scandal and Star Exit
I'm A Celeb camp punished for contraband rule break

Jungle life has taken a dramatic turn as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmates face severe repercussions for breaking camp rules, with the discovery of contraband items sending shockwaves through the group and leading to one celebrity's early departure.

Contraband Scandal Rocks the Camp

In an exclusive revelation, The Mirror reported that furious show executives discovered more banned items in the camp, despite a recent amnesty where contestants were instructed to hand over all illicit goods. This latest breach involved a contestant secretly possessing butter, adding to the previously uncovered salt and a bottle of air freshener.

A show source confirmed the turmoil, stating, "It's been a day of twists and turns with more contraband found and the consequences of this rule break has rocked the whole camp." The identity of the rule-breaker with the butter has not yet been disclosed by producers.

The Fallout and Punishments

This is not the first time the camp has been penalised for contraband. Show bosses previously stripped the campmates of a star after former England footballer Alex Scott was caught smuggling in salt, which she was seen using. The star, which had been won by rapper Aitch in a gruelling Bushtucker Trial, was revoked as a direct result.

In a separate incident, actress Shona McGarty admitted to smuggling a bottle of air freshener into the camp, which she concealed in the dunny. For the latest infraction, the unnamed rule-breaker will be presented with "two options" by show bosses to rectify the situation. Insiders suggest that both undisclosed options would have a significant and damaging impact on the entire camp.

Another Celebrity Heads Home

The contraband drama unfolded alongside another major exit from the jungle. Following Alex Scott's departure on Friday night, another celebrity was sent home during Sunday's episode.

Speaking after her exit, Alex Scott explained her difficult decision to leave, citing family reasons. She shared, "It's been a tough time for us and obviously her family, and it was a tough decision to come into the jungle... I knew there was always a possibility of her not being across the bridge, if her mum hadn't got better, or if things had been getting worse, which they have been." She added that it was her family member, Jess, who encouraged her not to pass up the opportunity.

With tensions high and punishments looming, the campmates are left wondering what the future holds as they face the consequences of their actions in the Australian jungle.
