Tensions reached boiling point in the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp last night as contestants Angry Ginge and Kelly Brook clashed over a domestic dispute branded "really unhygienic".
The Washing Up War Erupts
The argument began after YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge, was put on washing up duty. The 24-year-old from Manchester took issue with campmates eating their breakfast rice from mugs previously used for drinks, claiming it unnecessarily doubled his workload. "Can we please stop eating rice out of cups?" he pleaded, suggesting food should be served directly from its containers.
However, model and actress Kelly Brook, 46, immediately pushed back. She defended the practice, saying eating from a cup made the meagre rations "feel more like breakfast" and added much-needed variety to their jungle diet. An exasperated Angry Ginge hit back: "So we're double the washing up because it feels a bit more like breakfast?"
Hygiene Fears and Ant Infestations
The debate quickly escalated beyond mere chore allocation to serious health concerns. Speaking privately in the Bush Telegraph, Kelly Brook highlighted a critical hygiene problem. She explained that leaving food out in the open Australian jungle was an open invitation for pests. "By the time you get back to your tin at lunch time, it’s going be covered in ants. It's really unhygienic and it’s not very nice," she stated.
Her fears were proven valid as the camp recently discovered they had rats living among them after a wooden spoon and two cups were left out unwashed overnight. This revelation added weight to the ongoing discussion about camp cleanliness and the risks of attracting vermin.
Viewers and Camp Dynamics Divided
The row has split the show's audience right down the middle, with social media buzzing with opinions. One viewer criticised Kelly Brook, calling her "a pain in there", while another labelled Angry Ginge a "waste of space". Others took sides, with one comment reading: "Kelly was spot on. Aitch and Ginge not coming out of that too well."
The clash comes as the ITV show enters its third and final week, with the camp shrinking rapidly. Comedian Eddie Kadi was evicted on Sunday, followed by model Vogue Williams on Monday night. After her exit, Vogue admitted, "It feels good. It was getting pretty hard, I'm so hungry," but added she would be sad to leave the fun and camaraderie of the jungle.
With the final approaching, the pressure is clearly mounting in camp, turning even the simplest issues, like how to eat breakfast rice, into major flashpoints.
