Channel 4's Gogglebox star Andrew Nicolls has been flooded with messages of support from fans after posting a deeply personal and joyful update about his marriage to husband Alfie Mulhall.

On Sunday, December 21, Andrew took to Instagram to reflect on finding love later in life. He shared a montage of affectionate photographs capturing the couple's special moments together, from city breaks to beach trips.
In the poignant caption, Andrew wrote: "I was 60 when I thought my love story was over…Then THIS happened." The post featured images of the pair beaming in front of a skyline and Andrew planting a kiss on Alfie's cheek.
An Outpouring of Fan Support
The heartfelt update prompted an immediate and warm response from followers. One supporter commented, "Love always wins, my friend, and it sometimes is just around the corner - so happy for you both."

From Italian Wedding to Gogglebox Fame
Andrew and Alfie, who have a 30-year age difference, officially tied the knot in a beautiful destination wedding in Italy in May 2024. The Cotswolds-based couple then joined the cast of the hit Channel 4 show in September 2025 for its 26th series.
They have quickly become viewer favourites thanks to their witty and charming commentary on the week's television. Their relationship also shines through on screen, with Alfie recently remarking during an episode, "We do love a good drama don't we darling?" to which Andrew replied, "We love a good drama - less drama in our house, more drama on tele."
Away from the cameras, the couple often share glimpses of their life with their beloved dog, Perkins, who has also made appearances on the programme. Their Instagram feed is a mix of holiday snaps, personal milestones, and family moments, endearing them further to their growing fanbase.
