Gemma Collins' new eight-part docu-series will premiere on Sky on September 15, following her personal journey through IVF struggles, family life, and plans for marriage and motherhood.
The former TOWIE star's raw, unfiltered show moves past her "GC" persona, offering a look at her life away from the spotlight.
Show evolves after difficult year
Philip Edgar-Jones, Sky's Exclusive Producer of Unscripted Original, confirmed the release date while speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival. He noted that the series has changed significantly since it was first announced.
"There's a wonderful show coming out with Gemma Collins. She's a character that really resonates with a specific audience. We announced the show last year but it's not the show we've ended up with," Edgar-Jones said.
"She's had a very different year than the one she planned and it's quite unexpected, quite surprising, very moving and a powerful piece of television. We're just finishing it off at the moment that's due to come out on September and it's really interesting."
Personal loss shapes series
The show will also see Collins open up for the first time about how her past has shaped the woman she has become, the highs and lows of love, and the hardships that come with public scrutiny.
When the Navybee-produced show was announced in August, Collins described the forthcoming 12 months as "the most important year of my life" and teased that "for the first time people will get to see the Gemma behind the GC."
However, her beloved mum Joan Collins, who often appeared alongside her on The Only Way Is Essex, passed away peacefully last month after a battle with pneumonia, having been hospitalised following her second bout with the infection in a six-month period.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate later posted a message thanking her fans and followers for "holding me up with kindness" during her grief.
Collins rose to prominence while appearing on the ITV reality series The Only Way Is Essex from 2011 until 2019 and went on to appear on various other reality television shows, including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice.
Known for her diva persona and alter-ego "the GC," she became the subject of several internet memes and is considered a prominent figure within the British hun subculture.
