Gemma Collins in Talks for I'm a Celebrity All-Stars Return

Gemma Collins is reportedly in discussions to join the cast of I'm a Celebrity All-Stars, more than a decade after her brief three-day stint in the jungle in 2014. The Only Way Is Essex star, 44, famously quit the original series after just 72 hours, citing poor treatment and even claiming she had malaria.

According to a source quoted by The Sun, ITV executives are keen to have Collins back for the All-Stars edition, which will film in South Africa this October. 'She hated it the first time round but knows it would be TV gold for her fans if she gave it another go,' the insider said, adding that negotiations could go either way.

Collins has previously hinted at a return, telling The Sun she would be 'like Lara Croft and Angelina Jolie rolled into one' and that she would embrace the tasks. Her original departure was marked by tears and dramatic exits, including a panic attack during the helicopter ride to camp.

Since rising to fame on TOWIE in 2011, Collins has appeared on numerous reality shows, including Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice, and launched her own series and podcast. Business coach Jenny Stallard praised her ability to build a brand, saying, 'Her unapologetic ability to be 'the GC' has become a brand in itself.'
