Fletchers' Family Farm returns to ITV today, Sunday, September 27, at 11.30am, with season five debuting on ITV and ITVX. The Fletcher family, including former Strictly Come Dancing champion Kelvin Fletcher, will provide an update on their lives.
After a devastating fire at their farmhouse last year, the family of six has had to move elsewhere on their 120-acre farm, forced to "adjust to life" in their new lodge. ITV will highlight how they have been adapting, with Kelvin also reflecting on their journey since purchasing the farm five years ago.
Where is Fletchers' Family Farm filmed?
Fletchers' Family Farm is filmed in Cheshire, with the farm situated within the village of Wincle near Macclesfield, on the border of the Peak District National Park. Many other TV shows and films have been shot around the park, including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, House of the Dragon, The Princess Bride and Pride and Prejudice.
The family purchased their 120-acre farm in 2021, two years after the former Emmerdale star won Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Oti Mabuse. Kelvin, who portrayed farmer Andy Sugden for two decades, admits to not having any real-life farming experience prior to the purchase. Nevertheless, in 2024, he told Manchester Evening News that the new lifestyle was "everything and more".
What to expect in season five
Kelvin and Liz had their new lives first documented in the BBC series Kelvin's Farming Adventure before their ITV show Fletchers' Family Farm was launched in 2023. As well as looking back at how it all began, Kelvin will also share their "exciting plans for the year ahead" in the season five debut.
Production company Daisybeck Studios teases: "As they head into their fifth year farming, the Fletchers have definitely got into the swing of things, but raising four kids and running a farm is no easy task! Expect the usual chaos, family fun and of course plenty of laughs along the way."
