Emmerdale spoilers for next week confirm that Joe Tate and Sadie King team up against the Milligans, with the alliance set to be explosive. Joe, who previously buried Ruby alive and drugged Caleb, now wants revenge on the couple again. This time, he enlists Sadie King's help rather than Graham Foster. Sadie agrees to help Joe, plotting to seduce Caleb.
Joe and Sadie's plan
Joe tasks Sadie with spying on Ruby and Caleb, hoping she will find evidence to destroy them. Sadie, however, has her own ideas and tells Joe she will seduce Caleb. Soon, Sadie works on getting Ruby to open up, and secrets are revealed. Sadie reels Ruby in with a sob story, but Cain Dingle is suspicious about Sadie deciding to stick around in the village. Cain warns his brother Caleb that Sadie will ruin his life, but Caleb is sure he's too smart for her.
Thea's revenge and Robert's plan
Elsewhere next week, Serena Sugden is worried about Thea Ramsden and the anger she is bottling up about her secret mum, Kim Tate. As Serena worries about Thea's dark intentions for Kim, Thea begins scheming and orchestrates an issue with the police. Thea feigns support for Kim when she is stopped by police while driving, letting her go, but she is actually getting close to her to take revenge. It emerges she has set the whole thing up, and she tells Serena she plans to get Kim to trust her before destroying her.
Also next week, having missed Jimmy's funeral, Gabby Thomas heads to her uncle's grave with flowers, where she is approached by Robert Sugden. Amid this, Sadie asks Nicola King to hear her out, but Nicola is soon distracted when Gabby suggests she has an idea to make things right between them. Gabby wants to give Nicola some money by selling The Hide to Robert. Nicola also finds out about Gabby's hospital dash, and she and Gabby make amends. Soon, Gabby and Laurel hand over the keys to Robert, while his partner Aaron Dingle is confused. But Robert promises to stop scheming once the deal has gone through. Serena is made manager, and Robert is excited for the reopening, but a conversation could put a halt to things.
Vinny's court date and Samson's possible return
Later, Robert plans a poker night, and Kev and Claudette both want in. As Vinny Dingle prepares for his court date, he leaves flowers at Jimmy's grave before heading home. The family are all waiting for him, and he is feeling the love as he prepares for his court date, but what will his fate be? Vinny soon says his goodbyes.
Also next week, different letters are delivered around the village to characters like Joe and Nicola. Bob Hope has some bad news, and Matty Barton struggles with living at the farm. Moira offers him a place to stay at the Dingle house, but soon Moira clashes with Sam and Lydia Dingle about this, when it is revealed Sam's son Samson could be leaving prison soon.
