EastEnders: Denise's half-brother found, Amy faces danger

EastEnders spoilers for Tuesday, August 25, confirm a major breakthrough in the search for a stem cell donor for Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who remains in a coma after developing sepsis. Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) discovered via an ancestry website that Denise has a half-brother, Darnell (Christopher Colquhoun), and the family now races to track him down.

Hope for Denise as Darnell is found

Following Kim's breakthrough, the Fox-Trueman clan bands together to locate Darnell. Aware that time is of the essence, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) decides to take matters into his own hands, unaware that Kim has already made contact with Darnell, who agrees to meet.

However, Darnell doesn't know why he's been contacted and is left reeling when he learns about Denise's illness. Despite his reservations, he agrees to visit the hospital but is overwhelmed and makes a swift exit. Will Kim and Jack be able to convince him to help?

Amy faces rejection and goes to Craig

Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) and Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) have been growing closer, but Denzel receives a warning from Howie (Delroy Atkinson) about asking Amy out. When Amy makes a move on him later that day, the teen rejects her.

Feeling hurt, Amy crosses paths with Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) and agrees to a subsequent meeting. With Craig recently suspended from the force for gross misconduct after allegations were made against him, is Amy in danger?

Elsewhere in the Square

Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal and Heather Peace) are devastated when they're informed that Ria's mum could seek custody. Suki struggles with the news, leading to conflict with Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) over Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) and the baby.

At The Vic, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) is worried when he sees footage from Bert and Ernie's school project as Kat (Jessie Wallace) is left upset.
