Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has received support from her real-life partner Joe Sugg after she and her celebrity dance partner Will Best shared an emotional moment before pulling off an epic routine on the dance floor.
The professional dancer returned to the BBC One show last month, just months after she and YouTube star Joe welcomed their first child, son Bowden, in March this year. She was paired with Big Brother host Will, who revealed before the series began that he and his fiancée, Tobi Rose, were preparing to welcome their first child.
Will Best announces birth of son
Ahead of the latest Strictly live show, which took place on Saturday night (October 17), the presenter was flooded with support as he announced the birth of his son, Sonny Best. The new dad proudly showed off his newborn in a carousel of photos posted on Instagram.
There were several sweet snaps of himself and Tobi cradling their son, along with a photo of Sonny in a car seat carrier covered with a pastel yellow blanket embroidered with the word "lovely". In the caption, Will wrote: "Well who do we have here then?! Welcome to the world Sonny Best, you little smasher. @tobiroseofficial you’re a miracle and I love you so much. A couple of tired new parents (see last slide) but oh my goodness aren’t we lucky."
Emotional moment and Icons Week performance
Will and Dianne were then seen emotionally bonding over parenthood in their VT ahead of their Icons Week performance, as they ended the themed show with a jive to Crocodile Rock by Sir Elton, which earned them 31 points. Will was also presented with a onesie which read 'Tiny Dancer', referencing both his Strictly gig and Sir Elton’s hit song, for his newborn.
After their performance, Dianne's partner Joe shared a clip to his Instagram Story and praised the pair, as he said: "How you've both managed this on so little sleep is [mindblown emoji and clapping hand emojis]."
