Coronation Street is set to explore the life of newcomer Sienna Milburn on the cobbles. Sienna, originally paired with paramedic trainee Asha Alahan in 2025, has made intermittent appearances since then.
Upcoming storylines
In this week's episodes, Asha prepares for her first date with Sienna. However, Sienna seems distracted by phone calls. Later, Asha's former partner Nina Lucas alleges Sienna stole her money. Next week, viewers will meet Sienna's mother, Sadie, who has been diagnosed with dementia.
The paramedic struggles to find care options for her mother. The role of Sienna is played by actress Charlotte Tyree.
Famous 'sister'
Following her Corrie debut, Charlotte posted behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, writing about her wonderful experience on the show. One person especially proud was Liz Fletcher, wife of Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher. Liz shared Charlotte's post on Instagram Stories with the caption: "My sister in Corrie!" and celebration emojis.
Liz and Charlotte have been close friends for years. In 2016, Liz posted: "We have absolutely nothing in common... But somehow, she is the kindest, sweetest, daftest person I know... I couldn't ask for a better best friend!"
Past roles
Charlotte previously played Fay in the 2011 Channel 4 mini-series This Is England '88 by Shane Meadows, opposite Vicky McClure and Stephen Graham. She also appeared in ITV's The Long Shadow, Still Open All Hours, Merpeople of Mexborough, and End Calling.
