Coronation Street's Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) has fashioned a weapon while in prison, stuffing snooker balls into a sock, in an apparent bid to show fellow inmates she is not to be messed with.
Sarah has been behind bars since her arrest for the killing of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright). Initially, her naivety about prison life led her to befriend an inmate named Kacey, but the relationship soured when Kacey asked Sarah to get Kit Green's (Jacob Roberts) help with her son's case. When Sarah refused, Kacey warned she would no longer protect her from the other inmates.
Harry's safety questioned
In today's episode, Sarah grew anxious when Kacey showed her pictures of her son Harry at a new friend's house, suspecting Kacey had someone on the outside feeding her information. Sarah called Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), who confirmed Harry was with his friend. Adam had met the friend's mother, Lottie, days earlier when she asked for directions, and he did not suspect she was connected to Sarah.
During a confrontation, Lottie told Adam and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that she was friends with Kacey on a social media platform, the same place she had posted pictures of her son and Harry. She denied working with Kacey and rushed off.

Whether Lottie genuinely made a mistake or was collaborating with Kacey remains unclear, but the situation convinced Adam, Kit, and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) to keep a closer eye on Harry.
