Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) has returned to Weatherfield and is set to intervene in Sarah Platt's (Tina O'Brien) prison nightmare in Coronation Street.
Sarah remains behind bars after being convicted of killing Theo Silverton (James Cartwright). In today's episode, fellow inmate Kacey revealed her son has been arrested for armed robbery and demanded Sarah ask Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) for help. Sarah refused, prompting a threatening response from Kacey.
Todd's Return and Apology
During the visit, Todd, who had been abroad, decided to make amends with Sarah. Their friendship had previously fractured when Todd discovered Sarah killed Theo, denying him the chance to see Theo face consequences for abusing him.
Todd's decision to move on left Sarah relieved, but her comfort was short-lived as Kacey's threat left her in an impossible position.
A Risky Intervention
In a phone call, Sarah updated Todd, knowing the risk of telling Kit or any other police officer about Kacey's words. Todd told Sarah that if she doesn't talk to Kit, he will, potentially saving her from a dangerous woman.
