Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out the identity of Kit Green's biological father, with a new theory pointing to Ross Wilkes.
Kit (Jacob Roberts) first appeared on the ITV soap in 2024 as Bernie Winter's (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost son and has since been involved in several major storylines. In recent months, his ex-girlfriend Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) was sent to prison for murdering Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in April.
Kit's cancer diagnosis
Kit was recently told he has stage 3 breast cancer and would need treatment, including a mastectomy and potentially chemotherapy. The diagnosis came after he learned his family carries a BRCA (Breast Cancer) gene mutation. He initially kept the news from his mum Bernie and sister Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) before telling them the truth.
Fan theory about Ross Wilkes
On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer asked: "Who is Kit's biological father? Are we expecting him to show up on the street at some point?" Another fan suggested Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield), writing: "Might be that Ross?" A third agreed, saying: "Good thinking." Others added "Yh probably" and "That might be an upcoming storyline."
Ross first appeared on the soap earlier this year when he was revealed to be Tyrone Dobbs' (Alan Halsall) real father. It was later confirmed that Ross had paid Cassie (Claire Sweeney) for sex when she was 15, leading to her pregnancy with Tyrone.
Ross's recent drama
Ross has caused significant drama since moving to the cobbles, including isolating Cassie from her loved ones. With nowhere to go, she left to take a job on a cruise ship. Ross later appeared at the train station and was seen speeding away with her trapped in his car, with her fate and whereabouts still unknown.
