Breakout Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan has confirmed that a feud between her and Kaleb Cooper was not just for the cameras. In series four of the hit Amazon Prime Video reality show, viewers saw Kaleb leave the Cotswolds to tour the UK, with Jeremy Clarkson enlisting Derbyshire nurse Harriet Cowan to fill in and run the farm in his absence.
On-Set Tension Confirmed
Upon Kaleb's return, he was shown on the show confronting Jeremy about how the farm had been run, pointing out problems with drilling and harvest, and lashing out at the former Top Gear star. Viewers saw the pair clash openly, with Kaleb calling Jeremy a "t**t" and Jeremy responding with his own choice words before taking Kaleb aside to calm him down.
Now, Harriet has addressed the tension between her and Kaleb when he returned to Diddly Squat Farm to find her in his place, revealing the upset wasn't just for the cameras. Speaking to the Telegraph, she said: "I understand why he was p****d off and I'm not going to lie, he was."
Reasons Behind the Feud
She continued: "But it wasn't because of me as a person, or me as a woman. It was because he'd been away for so long on a tour bus. He's like me, he's a homebody. Eight weeks driving around, not with family, or being on a tractor. Then you come home and find out someone else has been doing your job? I'd be p****d off."
However, she stressed that it's water under the bridge and the pair have since made up, adding: "But me and him are great now."
Kaleb's Response
Kaleb has not publicly addressed Harriet's claims, but he has since praised her for stepping in, saying he was "very grateful" she had "saved the day" while he was touring. Clarkson's Farm's most recent series saw Harriet briefly return as Jeremy organised a tour bus to London to protest against now-ex-Chancellor Rachel Reeves' farming inheritance tax changes.
