Charlotte Crosby Reveals Relationship Struggles After Second Baby
Charlotte Crosby on Relationship Crisis With Fiancé

Reality television personality Charlotte Crosby has candidly discussed the significant strain placed on her relationship with fiancé Jake Ankers following the birth of their second child.

Adjusting to Life as a Family of Four

The Geordie Shore star, 35, and her partner Jake, 34, became parents for the second time when their daughter, Pixi, was born in February. They are also parents to a two-year-old girl named Alba. In a new exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Charlotte admitted that the transition to a family of four, combined with two demanding work schedules, proved incredibly challenging for the couple.

"We went through a hard time adjusting to life with two kids and two very busy work schedules," she revealed. "We butted heads a lot. There was a lot of arguing. There was a lot of one trying to better the other."

Filming the Struggles for Reality TV

These relationship difficulties were first hinted at earlier this year during an episode of her reality series, Geordie Stories: Charlotte, Mam Of Two, where she revealed their partnership was on the brink. Charlotte was quick to normalise the experience, insisting that such tensions are commonplace for new parents.

"Like, honestly, just the bog standard normal things that happen," she explained. "Obviously, we just happened to be filming a TV show at the same time. It was just a normal thing that every single pair of parents goes through at some point in their relationship with children."

She expressed confidence that viewers would relate, adding, "I know that so many people will watch that and be like, 'that is so normal'. We're literally going through that now." When questioned about any regret for sharing such private moments, Charlotte stated she is "kind of really used to it," but acknowledged that Jake struggles more with the public exposure.

Future Plans for More Children

Despite the recent turmoil, the couple's engagement story remains a highlight. Jake proposed in 2023 during a lavish holiday in Dubai, getting down on one knee surrounded by rose petals and a heart-shaped backdrop, a moment Charlotte described by declaring herself the "happiest woman in the world." The pair had started dating in 2021 and welcomed their first child thirteen months before the engagement.

Looking ahead, Charlotte has not ruled out expanding their family further. "I'll never say never, not anytime soon," she said, while noting her personal deadline. "I've always said that I don't want to be having any children past 37 really, and I'm 36 next year. So I've really got till 2027 in January, that's when I've got to make my mind up."

Fans can follow more of Charlotte's life as a mother of two in her series, Geordie Stories: Charlotte Mam of Two, which is streaming on the subscription service Paramount+ in the UK from November 19.
