The 34-year-old, who shot to fame on the TLC series 90 Day Fiancé, shared the happy news with People magazine, marking a significant new chapter in her personal life following her tumultuous divorce from ex-husband Pedro Jimeno.
From Dominican Romance to a Fairytale Proposal
Chantel Everett first found fame in 2016 on season four of 90 Day Fiancé, documenting her engagement and subsequent marriage to Dominican Republic native Pedro Jimeno. The couple's journey, including their secret wedding in March 2016 and the fraught dynamics with each other's families, was later chronicled in their own spin-off, The Family Chantel. However, their marriage imploded dramatically in 2022, dissolving into a public blizzard of mutual accusations over infidelity and finances.
Now, Everett has found love again. Her new partner, Ashley Bowen, proposed on December 17th at the Uhuburg castle in Helen, Georgia. On the show, she divulged that she had begun to 'explore' a romance with her friend Ashley Bowen, sharing that they had shared a kiss. "I almost fainted, I was so shocked, and I really liked it," Everett recounted, describing the experience as feeling like her "first kiss ever."
She admitted to initial confusion, questioning what the connection meant for her sexuality. However, by the season's tell-all episode, her feelings had crystallised. "I realized that I really care for her, so I've decided that I want to explore that relationship a little further," she announced. Ashley Bowen is the first woman Chantel Everett has ever dated.

The engagement news stands in stark contrast to the acrimonious end of Everett's previous marriage. Her split from Pedro Jimeno was plagued by allegations from both sides. Jimeno denied claims he was unfaithful, while court documents obtained by TMZ revealed he accused Everett of withdrawing $257,000 from a joint business account five days before their separation.
Everett countered that she took the money because she "didn't know what he was capable of," fearing he might hide assets.
