The second series of The Celebrity Traitors will include a moment viewers will have "never seen before", according to BBC Director of Entertainment Ed Havard.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman is returning to the Scottish Highlands for another run of the popular BBC programme following the success of the first series.
The roster of 21 well-known personalities prepared to take part in the ultimate game of deception, backstabbing and betrayal was announced earlier this year, as the Faithful attempt to identify the Traitors operating against them.
Details kept under wraps
In keeping with the secrecy surrounding The Traitors, the BBC has released limited details about the reality programme, and excitement is mounting as we enter the final month of summer.
Speaking at Edinburgh TV Festival, Havard revealed: "Things happen that you didn't think could happen on Traitors and have never seen before."
The complete celebrity line-up includes Amol Raja, Bella Ramsey, Hannah Fry, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Additionally, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Myha'la, Richard E. Grant, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
More than 15.2 million viewers tuned in for the series one finale, which saw Traitor Alan Carr get away with murder. The comedian was crowned the winner in a twist that broke the internet - and left him in floods of tears.
"It's been tearing me apart, I'm so sorry," Alan howled as he revealed to the remaining faithful Nick Mohammed that he'd been a Traitor from the start of the game.
Reaction and impact
Social media immediately exploded with reactions to the revelation. "Most awful traitor ever being the best traitor ever," posted one X user.
"There could not have been a more iconic ending," another remarked, while a third dubbed it "the TV moment of the year".
His chosen charity, Neuroblastoma UK, received the entire prize fund, with the final jackpot totalling £87,500. "Alan, what a moment. We can't tell you how grateful we are," the charity shared on social media at the time.
It marked the highest overnight viewing figures since the Gavin and Stacey finale, which drew 12.3 million on Christmas Day last year, according to the BBC.
Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Autumn.
