The Celebrity Traitors concluded on Friday night with Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft emerging victorious as faithfuls, after the final traitor Kenny was banished in a tense endgame.
The finale resumed after comedian James Acaster's self-confession at Thursday night's Round Table, which left two traitors still active inside Ardross Castle. With £64,500 already in the prize fund, the surviving celebrities prepared for one final murder and a race to the finish.
Final Murder and Mission Success
The episode opened with the two remaining traitors, Maya Jama and King Kenny, meeting in the turret to decide their final victim. Kenny was wary of Sebastian "Bash" for watching him closely, while Maya felt pressure from Michael Sheen during the previous Round Table. They decided the Welsh actor posed too great a threat.
Claudia Winkleman revealed Sheen had been murdered overnight. Reacting to his exit, Sheen said he was "incredibly disappointed" to fall so close to the final and described his time on the BBC show as "absolutely unforgettable".
The finalists then took part in a mission, divided into helicopter and ground teams, tasked with locating dynamite and identifying the correct bunker to explode in search of hidden gold. The mission added £18,500 to the fund, taking the total to £83,000. Sebastian earned special praise from Romesh, who described him as "the biggest hero of the mission".
Round Table and Banishment
At the final Round Table, suspicion centred on Maya. Romesh argued her approach was consistent with an effective traitor, while Sebastian questioned her limited contributions. Despite support from Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya received enough votes to be banished, with fellow traitor Kenny also voting against her. As she left, Maya warned: "Good luck, you're going to need it."
Her departure left Kenny as the final remaining traitor. The endgame phase began with Romesh, Sebastian, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne and Kenny all voting to continue banishing. Leigh-Anne was eliminated next, and attention shifted to Kenny, who tried to persuade the others no traitors remained.
Victory for the Faithfuls
Sebastian pieced together the final mystery, correctly identifying that Kenny had been recruited after the departure of another traitor earlier in the series. His arguments convinced Romesh to change course. Kenny was banished, revealing him as the final traitor and leaving Romesh, Sebastian and James Blunt as the remaining faithfuls.
One final disagreement remained: while Romesh and Sebastian believed the game should end, Blunt pushed for another banishment. The final vote saw Blunt eliminated, leaving Romesh and Sebastian as the last two players standing. Both revealed they were faithfuls, prompting celebrations as they realised they had defeated the traitors.
The pair shared the £83,000 prize fund between their chosen charities. Romesh played for the Refugee Council, while Sebastian's winnings went to Choose Love, which supports refugees and displaced people, including LGBTQ+ communities.
