Bird Poo Mishap Mars Thomas Malucelli's Bondi Beach Workout
Bird Poo Targets Thomas Malucelli at Bondi Beach

In a classic case of wrong place, wrong time, former The Bachelor star Thomas Malucelli fell victim to one of nature's most embarrassing mishaps during a workout at Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach.

A Sunny Session Takes a Soggy Turn

The 39-year-old reality TV personality was snapped enjoying a session at the open-air gym in North Bondi on Sunday. Thomas Malucelli was hard to miss, showcasing his jacked physique and many tattoos while shirtless. He paired his eye-catching neon pink Speedo shorts with matching pink New Balance sneakers and a backwards black cap.

He was photographed performing pull-ups on the bars and chatting with a fellow gym-goer, making the most of the sunny, beachside location. However, his smile was swiftly turned upside down when a large bird decided to target him, leaving an unwelcome deposit on his ripped chest.

From Celebration to Clean-Up

Following the unfortunate bird poo incident, Thomas was pictured heading to one of the public showers nearby to wash off the mess. The comical gaffe comes at a high point in his personal life, occurring just a week after he announced his engagement to his long-term girlfriend, certified Pilates instructor Georgia May.

Georgia shared the news of the romantic beachside proposal on Instagram last Monday, posting a stunning sunset photo of the moment Thomas got down on bended knee. Her heartfelt caption read, 'YES to the man I asked the universe for,' and she tagged Thomas, soundtracking the moment with Coldplay's 'All My Love'.

Congratulatory Messages Flood In

Friends and fellow reality TV stars were quick to flood the comments with messages of congratulations.

  • Wesley Senna wrote: 'YEEEEEEWWWW LESGOOO!!! Stoked for you guys!!!'
  • Rhys Sherlock added: 'WOOOOOO! Unreal guys.'
  • Cameron Merchant commented: 'Huge congratulations guys.'

Former Bachelor stars Jimmy Nicholson and Laura Csortan also joined the celebration. Jimmy wrote, 'Congrats love birds,' with Laura adding, 'Oh amazing! Congratulations.' The couple, who celebrated their two-year anniversary in June, seem to be taking the recent feathered faux pas in their stride.
