Charlotte Nott, the Big Brother contestant who quit the show after 13 days, has revealed that she missed her local pub "more than anything" during her time in the house.
The 18-year-old student was among 16 contestants who entered the famous house earlier this month and became the first to voluntarily leave. It was her first time living with complete strangers, and she "knew she wouldn't make it to the end" after the very first night.
Return to the pub
Despite being popular in the house and never placed for eviction, the quadruple amputee, who lost her limbs to meningitis, decided she had had enough and left the show after just 13 days.
Posting a picture from what appears to be a pub garden, Charlotte wrote on Instagram: "I returned to the local pub for my first drink since I got back. I missed the pub more than anything whilst in the house I'll be honest sorry xx."
Thanking supporters
The teenager has also taken time to thank her supporters since leaving the competition. "Just want to take a moment to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind messages and comments, I see and read them all," she wrote on Instagram.
She continued: "It has really helped me get back to my normal self. You are all making me smile every time I check my inbox. There are so many funny and sweet moments I had with all the housemates which you all never saw which makes me sad because I can't watch them back! But hey ho."
Reality check
Charlotte previously revealed that she has been watching Big Brother "every year" since it was revived by ITV and always wanted to take part. But she was too young to enter until this series.
Sadly, her dream-come-true wasn't exactly what she had pictured. "I think it was just all the challenges we were doing, I didn't imagine it to be like that," Charlotte confessed on Big Brother's The Group Chat podcast.
"I've never seen it like that before, we had the nightmare room on day three, got through that and then I think when those doors opened in the morning and there was no furniture, it was like we were sat on the floor in boiler suits. It was not good," she added.
Her final straw came after Big Brother announced that housemates would be living in the House of Nothing for seven days. They were stripped of all creature comforts, including furniture, basic cooking utensils, and even their voices. The contestants have slowly been winning back their everyday essentials by successfully completing a series of tasks.
