A Big Brother star is facing the possibility of a third eviction after housemates questioned her place in the house during a new twist.
This week, the housemates have been living in the House of Nothing, stripped of everyday luxuries like furniture. Big Brother has now extended the twist by removing their power to nominate, before returning it to only some of them.
Nominations twist divides housemates
In scenes set to air soon, Big Brother announces: "As part of this week’s House of Nothing, you were stripped of your voices, your possessions and the house furniture. You have also been stripped of your nominations. Today, nominations will be returned, but not all of you will receive them."
The contestants are randomly split into three groups of four. Group One is Harry, Philip, Rob and Samuel. Group Two is Omar, Rhianna, Johanne and Rochelle. Group Three is Lynx, Yasmin, Frankie and Pauline.
Each group must choose one housemate out of Yasmin, Lynx, Frankie and Pauline to lose their right to nominate this week. Group Two's discussion could spell trouble for Pauline.
Johanne defends Pauline
Johanne starts by defending her close friend, saying: "Okay, let’s go first. I think Pauline should not lose her right to nominate because she has been up for nominations twice, you know, and that’s brutal, that’s stressful."
She adds: "And it’s also proven based off of the public and what they can see, they can see more than what we see, it’s obvious that she’s a nice person. So I think she should not lose her right to nominate."
Pauline has faced both evictions this season and won enough public support to stay. Omar shares his view: "I disagree but, for like, everyone in the group I talk to a lot, other than Pauline’s the only person I don’t talk to that much."
Rochelle agrees: "Pauline’s the one that I least get along with, not that she’s not a nice person, everyone’s a nice person, but out of who I speak to the most, obviously…"
Group fails to reach unanimous decision
Johanne argues: "She has been up for nominations twice… nobody has had it more brutal in this house that’s still here than her. So let’s table that…"
After a back-and-forth, the group struggles to reach a unanimous decision. Big Brother is heard saying: "If Housemates cannot reach a unanimous decision, Big Brother will take a majority vote."
Omar then says: "Pauline, because we don’t feel like she’s a major contributor to the House compared to everyone else that’s listed in that group."
Johanne is left defending her friend, stating: "That’s a lie. That is a lie. I don’t believe that. I think she contributes more to this house than everybody in this room. Because, Rochelle, she has done the most heinous things in this house..."
Rochelle fires back with: "What are you on about?" The conversation sparks yet another spat between Johanne and Rochelle.
The nomination drama could mean Pauline is stripped of her ability to nominate, and the other housemates' opinions on her indicate she could be up for eviction again. If the Essex star is up for elimination, it could mean the end of her Big Brother journey since she has recently lost a majority of the support from viewers at home.
