ITV Big Brother fans have been left confused following an upcoming twist that they believe could change the entire game. This week, the house was plunged into the House of Nothing, meaning everything was stripped away from the housemates including their clothes and their food.
Despite having nothing, there has been plenty of drama and chaos with yet more explosive rows and heated clashes as the housemates continue to struggle. But of course, in true Big Brother fashion, the housemates do have the opportunity to win back certain items after taking part in a series of challenges.
Nominations twist revealed
Last night's instalment (September 28) saw some housemates being tested to their limit as Yasmin was seen breaking down in tears, claiming she'd had enough, as Frankie was also struggling, destroying the ITV set in a bid to find his toothbrush.
Tonight's episode is also set to bring more drama as it's nominations day, but there is a huge twist this week that viewers fear could change the entire game. On last night's instalment of Big Brother The Group Chat, hosts GK Barry and Kate Lawler revealed one major twist relating to the House of Nothing. Nominations will not happen as usual, instead, housemates currently have to win the right to nominate.
Hosts explain the change
Sharing the exclusive last night host GK said: "Now, we've got a bit of tea haven't we... Obviously, it's the House of Nothing right, so that means you have to earn your right to nominate. So not everyone in that house is going to be able to nominate someone."
Kate added: "Tomorrow. None of them have nominations as it stands, so none of them have the right to nominate anyone they have to win the right to nominate." GK replied: "This could go one of two ways. I think sometimes you think it's black and white... if say certain people in certain groups can't nominate it's going to completely throw it all off I fear."
Viewer concerns
However, some viewers have shared their concern, as one person said it was a "pointless" exercise, and another raised concerns over the potential of losing a housemate who delivers plenty of entertainment.
On X, a third added: "So we're looking at week three without normal nominations . ITV really hate the OG Big Brother!" A fourth stated: "In the House of Nothing, there are currently NO nominations , and Housemates have to WIN their right to nominate this week."
Over on Reddit, one user wrote: "Omg why can't they leave noms alone. On The Group chat exclusive. House of nothing will have to win their rights to nominate. That's going to have a massive impact on the noms." So, only a few may win their voting rights. Viewers will need to tune in tonight to find out who will be up for this week's eviction.
