Rochelle has been crowned the Big Brother 2026 winner after a turbulent eight weeks, taking home a prize pot of £100,000. The finale, which aired last night (Thursday, November 5), saw the public decide the winner, but the result has divided fans and housemates alike.
A Nail-Biting Finale
The final rankings saw Catrin in 6th place, Lynx in 5th, Samuel in 4th, and Yasmin in third. The showdown came down to Twinks and Rochelle, with Rochelle clinching victory before leaving the Big Brother house to a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd.
The news also appeared to draw a mixed reaction from her fellow housemates, with some seemingly far from impressed about the win.
Rochelle's Message to Viewers
In a video shared to the Big Brother social media page, Rochelle thanked viewers for their votes. She said: "Thank you so much to every single person that voted for me. I can't tell you what this means."
She added: "It's absolutely incredible. I don't know who you are, but thank you so, so much and I hope that I entertained you, because I worked b***** hard in that house." She then jokingly said: "And also, it looks like I've got the last word because I'm winner, winner chicken dinner, yay."
Fan Reactions Divided
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the controversial win. One person replied: "Love her or hate her, she definitely provided the entertainment." Another echoed: "Winner winner chicken dinner so deserved Rochelly what the helly", as a third penned: "Congrats Rochelle you had me in stitches most days and made this years series."
However, one person questioned: "I hope you was all entertained I worked so so hard in that house..... So she was clearly acting up for entertainment." Another simply wrote: "Fix", as a third stated: "this was so rigged." Over on Facebook, another raged: "Fixed the wrong person won." One person echoed: "That definitely a fix she was booed and win ok then yasmine or twinx or sam should won that."
Crowd Reaction Criticised
Many viewers also hit out at the "embarrassing" scenes during the crowd reaction, which was so loud hosts Will and AJ struggled to get through their interview with Rochelle. One person fumed: "They should have moved the interview inside the house ….. the crowd was disgusting tonight." Another echoed: "The crowd completely embarrassed themselves." A third stated: "I voted for you to win! I hated the fact the crowd was so rude during the interview. It honestly infuriated me. Congratulations Rochelle."
