Jungle Chaos Erupts as Campfire Goes Out

Chaos descended upon the I'm A Celebrity camp on Monday when internet personality AngryGinge, 24, accidentally spilled his beans onto the campfire, causing it to extinguish. The dramatic moment prompted fellow campmate Kelly Brook to exclaim in horror: 'Disaster! What the hell?'

Watching the unfolding drama from the sidelines, show host Ant McPartlin, 49, did not mince his words. Viewing the footage alongside co-host Declan Donnelly, also 49, Ant expressed his blunt opinion of the new recruits to the audience.

'I'm going early here, alright, but this lot here are hapless. Bunch of idiots,' he declared, adding with a sigh, 'They're going to struggle in there, aren't they? They really are.'

Luxury Longing and Jungle Rescues

Meanwhile, inside the camp, the celebrities were adjusting to their new, less-than-glamorous surroundings. Kelly Brook, 45, was the first to voice her longing for her life of luxury, admitting upon waking: 'This is definitely a departure from what I'm used to.'

Despite feeling far from home, viewers were quick to praise the radio presenter's appearance, with many taking to X to comment. One user wrote, 'Kelly Brook still looks glamorous after one night in the jungle,' while another noted, 'Kelly Brook really does look better with age, doesn't she?'

The former model faced a minor crisis during her morning routine when a bug landed on her hand while she was brushing her teeth. Startled, she squealed and flicked her hand, sending her toothbrush flying into the jungle wilderness below.

'I can't go three weeks without my toothbrush, my breath will stink,' she panicked. Fortunately, Lisa Riley came to the rescue, bravely heading into the bush to retrieve it. An impressed Aitch commented in the Bush Telegraph: 'Lisa saved the day, she got right down there, I don't even think she's allowed down there to be honest. She's breaking the rules and everything, she's a badman.'

Comfy Beds and Meditative Moments

While Kelly dealt with toothbrush turmoil, comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, slept soundly on the comfy bed he won in Sunday's challenge, completely unaware that a rat had crawled across him during the night. Waking in high spirits, he was met with a less-than-impressed Kelly, who pointed to her own basic bed and remarked, 'Of course you did. You're in paradise up there. Look at this. There's not even a blanket in here.'

In a more serene moment, campmate Ruby decided to lead a guided group meditation session down at the creek. Participants included Lisa, Shona, Jack, Kelly, and Alex. When Kelly asked how she learned to meditate, Ruby revealed she had studied neuroscience, mindfulness, and cognitive therapy at Oxford University ten years prior, quipping, 'and I was really stupid as a kid!'

It was also revealed that Kelly Brook, who had previously sworn she would never do the show, is thought to be receiving a fee of £80,000, significantly less than the estimated £300k that had been previously mooted. Back in 2018, she had stated on her Heart radio show, 'I don't want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles... Even if I had a huge tax bill and I had to pay it really urgently, I still wouldn't do it.' Her participation marks a U-turn, reportedly persuaded by her husband, Jeremy Parisi.
