Ant McPartlin Calls I'm A Celeb Campmates 'Idiots'

Ant McPartlin has branded his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmates 'idiots' during a recent interview. The presenter, who co-hosts the ITV show with Dec Donnelly, made the comment while discussing the challenges of filming the series in Australia.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Ant and Dec revealed that this year's filming experience has been dramatically different due to their families joining them Down Under. The duo, who have hosted the show since its inception, admitted that their usual golf games have been replaced with family time.

Ant explained: 'We get up at about 2am Australian time so it's early! But then you go to bed at about 6pm, so you get a little bit of sun in the afternoon. No golf though!' When asked why no golf, Ant added: 'Well we have the families out this year so we can't just be...' Dec interjected: 'I have two children Andi, I can't go out.'

Dec also admitted that filming has become 'more stressful' with his family in tow. He said: 'We have got the family here, baby Jack. And Isla is here, we have got the whole gang. It is a bit more stressful coming now, you watch less movies. But it is fine and great to be able to bring them out.'

Meanwhile, former campmate Chris Moyles revealed that Ant and Dec barely speak to contestants during filming. 'They don't really tell you anything. Ant and Dec, you literally walk onto the trial and they're there. And then you do the trial and if there's any break in filming to get you wired up or whatever, they walk off. The only time I've really spoken to Ant and Dec is what you've seen on the TV,' Moyles said on his Radio X show.
