Liverpool-born model Abbey Clancy has sparked excitement among fans after announcing she will front a new reality series with her husband, former footballer-turned-TV pundit Peter Crouch.
The 40-year-old model and media personality, alongside the 45-year-old, is working on The Crouches, a series the pair will film over the next 12 months. Prime Video will launch the show in 2027, offering an unprecedented look inside their family life, according to the Mirror.
Announcement and fan reaction
Abbey shared images from the forthcoming show on her Instagram account, captioned: “Our life should be lovely calm and simple... it is not. The Crouches, coming to Prime Video 2027.” Peter cheekily responded in the comments: “Not for me,” with Abbey replying: “It’s happening, oh god.”
Many fans posted their reactions, with one writing: “Can't wait for this, your podcast is the best, this will be brilliant [sic].” Another said: “You guys are fab, just watched an old episode of your podcast whilst doing a kettlebell workout!! Look forward to seeing this new series.” A third commented: “This will be an unbelievable must-watch. Lovely family,” while another added: “This is gonna be BRILLIANT.”
Series details and filming
Prime Video has shared a couple of shots from the series, which has already started filming. The Crouches will document the couple’s lives with their four children, balancing home life with work commitments.
The series, debuting next year, begins with Peter heading to the World Cup while Abbey manages a house move and a major property renovation project, all while caring for the kids and pets. It will also follow Abbey as she turns 40 and wants to focus more on her career after prioritising Peter’s in the past.
Peter Crouch’s comments
Peter spoke about the show, calling it “bit scary” but saying they were “excited” for everyone to see it. He teased “a lot of chaos” and “probably a few moments we’ll regret letting the cameras see us”. He promised The Crouches would give fans a true glimpse into their lives, charting the “ups and downs”, but the show “will be us”.
The Crouches follows the former England footballer’s documentary That Peter Crouch Film from 2023, and the couple’s podcast The Therapy Crouch, which explores their romance. The pair have also appeared together in various commercials. The Crouches will launch on Prime Video in 2027.
