Gordon Ramsay Offers Free Food to Scotland Fans in Kilts

Gordon Ramsay is offering Scottish fans free food at his Boston restaurant this weekend, but only if they wear a kilt. The celebrity chef announced the promotion ahead of Scotland's World Cup opener against Haiti at Boston Stadium.

Free Wings for Kilt-Wearing Fans

In an Instagram video, Ramsay, wearing a Scotland top, said: "Hey guys, it's Gordon. Now listen, there's a lot of excitement building up ahead of Scotland vs Haiti, but here's how I'm going to give a little bit back. If you're in Boston anywhere near Gordon Ramsay Burger, wings are on me, okay? Six wings are on me when you buy a burger, providing one thing... the legs are out and you're wearing a beautiful kilt. Mon! Good luck guys."

Fans quickly noted the condition, with one commenting: "The businessman came out very quickly there Gordon. Wings are on me... Erm... Six wings. When you buy a burger." Another added: "He didn't become a millionaire by accident. Good Scottish business acumen."

Ramsay Attends Scotland Training Session

The 59-year-old chef was spotted at Scotland's final training session before the match at the Revolution Training Centre in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He met with players and was presented with a Scotland shirt bearing 'Ramsay 26' by captain Andy Robertson. Ramsay later wore the shirt while watching from the sidelines in sunglasses.

A Scottish FA video showed him chatting with players Anthony Ralston, Scott McTominay, and Che Adams in the gym. Ramsay, a former youth player for Rangers, moved back to Scotland as a teen to pursue football but suffered a knee injury that ended his career, leading him to cooking.

Famous Scots in Boston

Ramsay joins other Scottish celebrities supporting the team, including First Minister John Swinney, actors Richard Gadd, Gerard Butler, and Martin Compston. They attended a Scottish Night dinner and gala event at the Royale, where Butler wore a kilt and football shirt. The event supported Street Soccer Scotland.
