Max Factor has released its new Chocolate Melts collection, featuring the popular instant blurring lipstick Mellow Blur, now available in six new chocolate-inspired shades. Priced at £9.99, the lipstick is a favourite of former Made in Chelsea star Sophie Habboo.
The new shades include Mochi Mauve (soft mauve), Raspberry Rush (cool pink), Peach Blush (soft coral), Cashmere Cherry (deep red), Brushed Berry (deep pink), and Brown Butter (nude brown). The buildable formula allows for a subtle or richer lip colour and pairs well with the brand's Lip Shader Lip Liner.
Lightweight and Smooth Formula
Featuring a soft-matte finish, the creamy, lightweight formula feels 'pillow-soft on lips' and uses smooth blur technology for easy application. One review from a former makeup artist states: "The good thing about this product is how smooth it glides on and feels like butter which also is very blendable."
The lipstick competes with Glossier's Generation G lipstick (£20) and REFY's Lip Blush (£16), both offering similar blurring effects. It boasts a 4.5-star rating from nearly 300 reviews on Boots.
