Priscilla Presley has strongly denied a claim made in a lawsuit that her granddaughter, actress Riley Keough, is the biological mother of John Travolta's 15-year-old son, Benjamin.
The allegation was included in a legal filing by Priscilla's former business partner, Brigitte Kruse, amid a bitter financial dispute. According to the documents, Kruse alleged that Michael Lockwood, the ex-husband of Riley's mother Lisa Marie Presley, told her that Riley donated an egg to Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston in exchange for a Jaguar car and up to $20,000.
In response, Priscilla Presley's lawyers issued a furious rebuttal, stating that 'Brigitte and her co-conspirators have demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to cause further pain to Priscilla Presley and her family.' They branded the DNA claims as 'shameful' and vowed they would be disproved in court.
The court filing also referenced earlier claims that Lisa Marie Presley donated eggs for the couple, and that Lockwood alleged a deal was orchestrated because they did not want 'eggs with heroin on them', referring to Lisa Marie's opioid addiction. The complaint further claimed that the agreement required a sign-off from the Church of Scientology.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston welcomed Benjamin in November 2010, a year after the death of their first son Jett. Travolta has not commented on the allegations, and neither has Riley Keough or her representatives.
