Ore Oduba, the former BBC presenter and Strictly Come Dancing champion, has exposed a scam involving American author and motivational speaker Mel Robbins. During an appearance on the ITV daytime talk show Loose Women, Oduba revealed that Robbins' popular '5 Second Rule' method was being misrepresented in a fraudulent online scheme.
Oduba explained that scammers were using Robbins' name and image to promote a fake investment opportunity, promising high returns. The scam targeted vulnerable individuals, particularly those interested in self-help and personal development. Oduba urged viewers to be cautious and verify any offers before engaging.
The Loose Women panel discussed the importance of staying vigilant against such scams, especially as they often appear legitimate. They advised checking official websites and sources for any claims made by public figures like Mel Robbins. The segment aimed to raise awareness and prevent further victims from falling for the fraudulent scheme.
