Mia Winward-Dunn: Estranged from Parents After £100k-a-Month OnlyFans Career
Mia Winward-Dunn estranged after OnlyFans career

The daughter of a former Emmerdale actress and a retired England footballer has revealed she was cut off by her parents and branded a horrific name by her father after launching a lucrative career on the adult subscription site, OnlyFans.

A Lucrative Career and a Family Rift

Mia Winward-Dunn, 20, stunned her famous parents, actress Sammy Winward and ex-Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn, when she decided to join the platform. At the peak of her success, she was earning an astonishing £100,000 per month by creating fully nude content for subscribers. This financial success means she now does not have to work during her pregnancy.

However, her career choice created a devastating and widening rift with her parents, who separated just three months after her birth in 2005. Mia says she is now completely estranged from both. "I tried to reconnect with my dad and he called me a w***e on the phone," she told The Sun in a 2025 interview.

Life After OnlyFans and Hopes for Healing

Mia has since stopped her work on OnlyFans and is now expecting her first child. She lives in the Lake District with her unnamed partner, the "multi-talented" father of her baby. Despite the estrangement, she holds onto hope for a future reconciliation, especially with her mother.

"I'm completely fully cut off and they want any sort of contact, which is a really big shame," she said. "I think it's crazy to have such anger towards me when I am in fact at the end of the day their daughter." Mia expressed a desire to go baby clothes shopping with her mother but acknowledges "There’s a lot to forgive and that process hasn’t even started yet." She is prepared to apologise, provided her parents do the same.

A Childhood of Material Wealth and Emotional Neglect

Reflecting on her upbringing, Mia claimed she felt "lonely and controlled." Due to her mother's hectic filming schedule on Emmerdale, she sometimes saw her for just "10 minutes a day."

"I may have been spoiled materially, but I was definitely neglected emotionally," she recalled. "I often felt lonely, picked on and controlled - about what I wore, what I said in public and most of all unsupported."

Despite the painful fallout, Mia says she does not regret her decision to join OnlyFans. "I don’t regret it because I had the best year or two of my life traveling the world doing shoots with amazing people," she stated, while confirming that chapter of her life is now closed.
