Busfield has pleaded not guilty to all counts, and his trial is scheduled to begin in May 2027.
The Albuquerque Police Department issued an arrest warrant on January 9, alleging that Busfield engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with two 11-year-old boys he met on set, who worked as child actors. Busfield surrendered to police on January 13 and was released from custody a week later after a pretrial detention hearing.
