Documentary Exposes Waning Support
Channel 5's new documentary, Harry and Meghan: Has America Had Enough?, explores why Americans have turned on the couple. Tom Slater, editor of Spiked Online, told Sky News Australia that while Americans initially embraced the Sussexes, public sentiment has shifted. He remarked, "The shine is coming off," a five-word comment that encapsulates the couple's current predicament.
Slater explained: "I think this moment was always coming. This documentary underlines that whilst Harry and Meghan were pretty embraced in America, a lot of people bought their end of the story that they were hounded out of the royal family. But the truth is different, and that's being revealed now."
Business Decline
Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever, has also seen a downturn. Data from Similarweb shows US visits to the site dropped from 180,000 in December 2025 to 89,000 in January and 61,600 in April. A website glitch revealed 650,190 units of raspberry jam in stock, valued at approximately $21.8 million based on sale price.
