YouTube star Conor Maynard has launched a thinly-veiled attack on The Traitors contestant Charlotte Chilton, as their bitter paternity dispute continues to escalate. The public swipe comes just days after Chilton underwent major brain surgery.
A TikTok Dig Amid Health Crisis
Maynard, 33, jumped on a popular TikTok trend this week, using it to make what fans interpreted as a brutal dig at Charlotte Chilton. In the video, set to Tame Impala's song The Less I Know the Better, text appears on screen reading: “Are you SURE you didn’t sleep with anyone else?”
The timing of the post has sparked controversy, as it follows Chilton's hospitalisation last week. The 32-year-old reality star was rushed in for surgery to treat trigeminal neuralgia, a condition she described as causing "physical torture".
From her hospital bed, Charlotte shared her ordeal with followers, stating the surgery was "daunting" but necessary for long-term relief. Her health crisis unfolds alongside an ongoing legal and personal battle to establish the paternity of her one-year-old daughter, Penelope.
The Unresolved Paternity Dispute
Charlotte Chilton has consistently insisted that Conor Maynard is the father of her child, despite two separate DNA tests proving otherwise. The first test, conducted earlier this year, excluded Maynard as the biological father.
A second test was subsequently requested by Chilton. In the summer, results from a Ministry of Justice-accredited DNA facility again confirmed Conor Maynard is not Penelope's father. Following this second result, Maynard broke his silence on social media, expressing his desire to "move on" and "finally draw a line under this."
However, Charlotte has publicly questioned the accuracy of the tests. "I am saying it because I know it is true," she stated, adding she had received messages from others with similar disputed DNA results.
Fan Reaction and a New Name Emerges
Reaction to Conor Maynard's recent TikTok video has been mixed. Some followers criticised the move, with one commenting "This is embarrassing" and another urging him to "give it a rest now mate." Others saw it as justified pettiness, with a fan declaring it "the best way to be petty."
Complicating the paternity mystery further, a second man has been linked to the case. Jonny Holloway, a co-star of Charlotte's, has claimed he also had a relationship with her around the relevant time. He alleges he requested a DNA test, but says Charlotte has since refused to engage with him on the matter. Charlotte has denied sleeping with Holloway.
